Environmental sustainability has always been a cornerstone of our operation. Production must be balanced with preservation of the saltwater bays and estuaries where our mussels grow naturally. 

Small Ecological Footprint

Our plant is the most environmentally responsible in the industry, and includes a state-of-the-art water recirculation system to drastically reduce the facility's water requirements while similarly reducing its effluent stream. Water used during processing will continue to be purified through a multi-step filtration process before returning to the sea.
